Mentoring is journeying. It is being there… in the good seasons…in the tough seasons… Mentoring is listening. Praying. Asking. Supporting. Encouraging. Mentoring is gently pushing people out of their comfort zones when faith has become too safe. Mentoring is a friendly smile and warm hug when the comfort zones seem like a distant memory. Mentoring is dream-inspiring, permission giving and risk-taking. Mentoring is honesty. Authentic. Earthed in reality. Mentoring is a journey measured in prayer, conversation and coffee.
